The force issued details through a community alert.

A spokesperson said it happened on New Brighton in Cottingley, sometime between 7.15am on Tuesday, September 2, and 8.15am on Wednesday, September 3.

The motorcycle was parked outside a property and was equipped with multiple security measures, including alarmed disk locks and a ground anchor, West Yorkshire Police said.

The suspects attempted to cut through the disk lock but failed and made off from the scene empty-handed.
