Brendan Rodgers has probably had one of the worst transfer windows over his two spells as a Celtic manager.
The Celtic boss had a terrible time trying to get signings over the line this summer and after a dreadful transfer deadline day, Rodgers saw one striker leave and a winger come in.
Rodgers was adamant Adam Idah’s Celtic exit could not happen unless another striker was brought to the club this summer.
As it turned out, the Irishman was sold anyway and that led to journalists whispering about Rodgers’ Celtic future, which Frank McAvennie said he just clamped with one summer signing.

Celtic signed Kelechi Iheanacho to make the Nigerian striker the club’s twelfth summer addition.
However, before Rodgers did that, McAvennie shares what journalists were telling him about the Irishman’s future at the club and how he clamped those rumours with one summer signing.
McAvennie said on Let Me Be Frank, “Well, listen, there’s a lot of players moved about.
“To be honest with you. I honestly thought, and I know the papers because I spoke to a lot of papers guys, newspaper guys, they were thinking Brendan was leaving.
“But when Iheanacho came in I thought Brendan is staying because he would have made a promise to the boy. And he’ll get him fit.
“This is a good time because there’s a break. So Brendan will get him fit or the coaching staff will get him fit.
“I think Brendan will take a week off or something. And they’ll get him fit.”
Has Kelechi Iheanacho been included in Celtic’s Europa League squad?
The Celtic fans have delivered a mixed reaction to the signing of Iheanacho with many venting angrily towards the Hoops board.
However, Rodgers has shown faith in the striker and named him in Celtic’s Europa League squad this week.
Iheanacho is likely to lead the line and will be supported by Johnny Kenny and/or Daizen Maeda for the European group stage this season.
