A young singer is releasing his first-ever single ahead of his performance at a fashion week event.
Harrison James from Emneth is “relieved” to be bringing out his first pop single called ‘No Time’ on September 19 – the day before he will be heading to London to perform at an awards evening.
From starting at a young age, just singing for a hobby, he realised he wanted to take it seriously at around 13 years old after performing solo at the Royal Albert Hall.
Harrison James will be releasing his first-ever single this month
Since then, he said he has done a lot and has even worked with some big names such as Johnny Depp.
This will be his first single as an artist on his own, but he has worked on other projects such as writing a charity record for Fatima’s UK campaign highlighting the needs of children in care, which also featured celebrities such as Ringo Starr, Johnny Depp, The Who, and Shaun Ryder.
The 21-year-old said his new song is based on falling in and out of love and added: “So hopefully a lot of people can relate to it.”
Harrison said: “I am relieved as I have been wanting to get something out for ages – my own bit of work.
“I am relieved that I have got the process going, and it’s one of those things, now that I have released the first one, I can just push on forward and start releasing more and start gaining more and more exposure.”
The day after the release of ‘No Time’ – September 20 – Harrison will be heading to the city to perform a song that will be coming out during Christmas, at London Fashion Week’s Icon Awards at the Troxy venue, which celebrates what people have done in the industry to help out.
Harrison said: “It will be very cool to be around that level of talent in the industry.
“For me, it is going to be a good place to network and expose, rather than just a performance.
‘No Time’ will be available to stream from every platform from September 19.
