Lady Victoria Hervey is taking aim at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. In a new interview, the English model and socialite — who briefly romanced the Duke of Sussex’s uncle, Prince Andrew, in the late ’90s — marveled that the couple of nearly a decade is still going strong.

“I’m amazed their marriage has lasted as long as this — I’m sure it’s only because of the kids, because it seems to have been quite rocky for a while,” Lady Victoria Hervey told Closer before marveling that Meghan Markle got Prince Harry to “move his whole life … back where she grew up.”
While Lady Victoria Hervey may have her doubts, Meghan Markle has said that Prince Harry is her “forever” and that they’re in “more of a honeymoon period” today than ever before.
At the TIME100 Summit in April, Meghan Markle gushed of life with Prince Harry, “A confession I can share with you today is that I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. To have a husband and a partner who is so supportive and kids who are healthy and happy, I never imagined at this point I would feel so happy and grateful, and I really do.”
While Meghan Markle is often accused of pushing Prince Harry to leave the royal fold, the Duke of Sussex hinted that he’s the one who ultimately made the call to walk away. “I took matters into my own hands,” he told Oprah Winfrey in 2021. “It was like, ‘I need to do this for my family.’ This is not a surprise to anybody. It’s really sad that it’s gotten to this point, but I’ve got to do something for my own mental health, my wife’s and for [our son Prince] Archie‘s as well. Because I could see where this was headed.”
