The former Celtic and Scotland captain wouldn’t let the Ibrox icon off while on the BBCScott Brown reacts to Peter Lovenkrands’ slip of the tongue

Laughing Scott Brown called out red-faced Peter Lovenkrands he accidentally called Scotland “Rangers” during BBC punditry duties.

The Ibrox legend was part of the panel picking apart the perofmance of Steve Clarke’s side during the goalless first half of the World Cup qualifier with Denmark.

He was alongside former Celtic and Scotland captain Brown and former Rangers’ star Neil McCann – who was also part of Barry Ferguson’s backroom team in charge of the Light Blues last season.

Reflecting on the game, Lovenkrands said: “Denmark have had a lot of possession, a lot of good opportunities and they just need that last pass to open Scotland up a little bit. I would say it’s been positive for Rangers…for eh…”

Giggling Brown quickly cut in: “You are just Rangers daft yous two”

Presenter Kelly Cates chimed in: “You are in Glasgow for five minutes…”

Lovenkrands quickly corrected course: “There have been, they just haven’t been able to find that final pass to split them open.”
