Things are starting to turnRain and high winds will be creeping into Manchester from this weekend
The summer sunshine will soon be a distant memory in Greater Manchester. This weather is expected to set the tone for an unsettled week ahead.
Saturday will be dry, with spells of sunshine. It will be a cloudy afternoon, according to the Met Office. It isn’t expected to rain, but you’d be advised to err on the side of caution with the chance of precipitation peaking at around 40 per cent post-midday.
Temperature will reach 22C. It’s expected to be breezier than Friday and pleasantly warm.

Saturday evening will be much the same – mainly dry, but cloudy as winds begin to pick up. Temperature will fall to 16C.
Sunday is expected to be much cloudier with outbreaks of showers that will turn heavy at times. There’s a small chance of thunder. Temperatures will peak at at 21C.
The unsettled weather will carry on into the next week with strong gusts forecast, heavy showers and longer spells of rain. There will be the occasional sunny spell.
