Johannes Radebe has been branded ‘stunning as ever’ as he was seen teasing the return of Strictly Come Dancing alongside his co-stars.
The professional dancer is among those returning to the hit BBC One dance contest this year, with the 23rd series set to get underway later this month (September).
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will once again be back as hosts, and there has been no changes to the expert panel this year, meaning Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke will all be back on the judging panel.
And those who follow the popular porgramme will also know which professional dancers will be back in the ballroom this year. As well as Joahhanes, Amy Dowden, Nadiya Bychkova, Karen Hauer, Nikita Kuzmin, Neil Jones and Luba Mushtuk were all confirmed to be involved in the 2025 series.
Dianne Buswell, Katya Jones, Jowita Przystal, Michelle Tsiakkas, Aljaž Škorjanec, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley and Vito Coppola will also take to the ballroom once more. While Gorka Marquez is also set to be part of the pre-recorded group numbers, he won’t be competing with a partner this year.
The returning stars will be joined by two brand new professional dancers, So You Think You Can Dance champion Alexis Warr and Australia’s Dancing With The Stars’ Julian Caillon.
On Friday (September 5), the BBC shared a fresh glimpse at what they have in store when it returns. The 30-second clip sees Strictly’s professional dancers and head judge Shirley Ballas enjoying one last burst of summer at a fab-u-lous pool party, held in the grounds of a glamorous mansion.

The trailer gives an early taste of a sizzling full-length routine that will form part of Strictly’s hotly anticipated launch show, which will be pre-recorded next week before airing on Saturday, September 20.
BBC iPlayer have now shared the trailer to its Instagram page with the caption: “NEW Strictly Come Dancing Trailer 2025… Diving into sparkle season. Watch brand-new #Strictly on #iPlayer from 20 September.
“Dazzling routines, sparkling sets and the glitziest of costumes – fifteen new celebrities are ready to take to the Strictly floor!”
And the show’s stars were quick to respond. Johannes kicked things off by saying: “It’s about to go off.” Gorka, meanwhile, said: “Nothing like a Strictly pool party.” Amy, Julian and Lauren all encouraged: “Let’s go!” while Vito confirmed: “We are sooooo Ready #keepdancing.”
Johannes also shared the trailer to his own Instagram page, alongside the caption: “We’re ready @bbcstrictly #strictlycomedancing.” And fans were quick to respond.
