Police were called to Tollcross Road at Braidfauld Street in Tollcross at around 11.25am this morning following a report of a man in possession of weapon. 

Two men were injured and one has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

His condition is not known.

Officers carried out a search of the area and say a ‘bladed weapon’ has been recovered.

An investigation is underway to establish the full circumstances. It is understood cops are following a positive line of inquiry. 

 

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “An investigation is under way following a report of a man in possession of a weapon in Tollcross Road at Braidfauld Street, Glasgow.

“Police were made aware around 11.25am pm Saturday, September 6. 

“Two men were injured and one was taken to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

“A search of the area has been carried out and officers have recovered a bladed weapon.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
