Prince William has been spotted in Exeter after a Royal helicopter was seen over Devon. The senior royal attended the Women’s Rugby World Cup held at Sandy Park Stadium in Exeter today (September 6) to support Wales in their match against Fiji this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales, who is patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, was photographed at the game. The match ended at 28-25 to Fiji, leaving Wales at a loss for this weekend. Prince William can be seen ‘straight faced’ as he watches the rest of the match.

Meanwhile, Princess Kate was supporting England’s side at a separate match in East Sussex, continuing their well known ‘rivalry’.

The Exeter outing comes during a busy week for the Royals. On Thursday (September 4), the pair made a joint appearance visiting the Natural History Museum gardens in London, the focus of their visit was on encouraging environmental awareness and outdoor learning.

The couple also paid tribute this week following the death of the Duchess of Kent on Thursday.

Later this year, William and Kate are expected to move into Forest Lodge, an eight bedroom home in Windsor Great Park described as their ‘forever home’. William, Kate, and their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have lived at their current Adelaide Cottage home, also in Windsor, for three years.

Sources say this has meant the family have gone through some “really difficult times” at Adelaide Cottage, with the move marking a fresh start for the Wales’, as they leave any unhappy memories behind.
