Legendary Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor left Birmingham fans screaming as she ‘bust a move’ on stage.
The Indian star cut the ribbon for Malabar Gold and Diamonds showroom on Soho Road today, Saturday 6, praising the ‘love of Birmingham fans’.
Soho Road was closed between Rookery Road and Boulton Road from 1pm to 4pm, as hundreds of eager fans gathered outside a massive stage next to the showroom.

Dancers whipped around and singers got the crowd buzzing as Sunrise Radio DJs hosted the event.
After the dazzling cultural performances, the A-lister arrived on a red carpet waving and blowing kisses at fans.

Phones were raised in the air following the actress’s every move as fans screamed ‘Kareena! Kareena!’
Kareena Kapoor, 44, said: “Hello Birmingham, thank you for so much love, it is always such a pleasure to see my fans.
“Thank you Malabar Diamonds too.
“Birmingham I performed here 15-20 years ago for a show called Heart Throbs and it was such a hit, we performed a second time because of all the love fans in Birmingham gave.
“I love you guys.”

The actress was interviewed by Sunshine Radio host Paul Shah who asked the movie star ChatGPT questions about her career.
If the actress got one wrong she would have to ‘bust a move’ on stage, so when Kareena did get an answer wrong, Shah and the audience cheered for a dance.
Kareena performed two dances on stage in her glittering saree as fans screamed and clapped.
Before her performance, the actress entered the store whilst other officials attending included Lord Mayor of Birmingham Zafar Iqbal, Councillor Waseem Zaffar MBE, Soho Road BID, popular influencers and actresses.

Fans included Rajni Bala, 37, from Wolverhampton who said: ” I want to see Kareena Kapoor, I love her movies.”
Savita lugha, 42, from Handsworth said: “Love her movies. I’m a big fan from when I was 15 years of age.
“My favourite movie is Kabhi Kushi Kabhie Gham.”
Another fan Sonal Gajbe, 45, from Edgbaston painted a portrait of her in one day, saying: “I am an artist and want to give it to her. I have been a fan since the 80s.
“I love Jab We Met and Kabhi Kushi Kabhie Gham!
“She is spontaneous and I like her smile, the way she acts is beautiful.”
Malabar is the world’s fifth-largest gold and diamond retailer and Europe’s largest 22-carat gold store.
Soho Road BID previously said: “The Soho Road BID continues to work hard to attract new businesses into the area, and this opening marks a significant milestone for our high street.
