In time to celebrate its first birthday, the restaurant and bar is expanding into an additional floor on 156 Briggate with building works underway.
Work will be complete by October and will provide a new exclusive private hire space for the city.
The original space will remain open while works are ongoing.
Nyla’s opened in October 2024 and has quickly become popular as a brunch place, hang-out spot, and late night cocktail bar.
As well as doubling in size, the bar will offer an expanded food and drink menu.
Nyla’s general manager, Alicia Varley, said: “After an incredible first year we have rapidly outgrown our space and couldn’t be more grateful for the overwhelming support we’ve had from the Leeds community and our valued regular customers. We can’t wait to unveil our new look just in time to celebrate our first birthday.”
