A man has died after a crash involving a motorcycle and a Range Rover on a Welsh roundabout. The collision happened on Saturday morning on the A547 at the Black Cat roundabout in Llandudno Junction in Conwy.
Emergency services were called to the scene and a section of the road was closed for several hours. Despite the best efforts of those in attendance the male rider of the motorcycle – a white Suzuki – died at the scene, police have confirmed.

A spokesman for North Wales Police said: “We are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision in Llandudno Junction.
“Shortly after 11.30am on Saturday, September 6, we received a report of a two-vehicle collision on the A547 at the Black Cat roundabout, which closed the road.
“The collision involved a blue and white Suzuki motorcycle and a black Range Rover Sport.
“Emergency services attended however despite their best efforts the motorcyclist was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“His next of kin and the coroner have been informed.”
Lead investigating officer sergeant Alun Jones said: “I offer my deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time.
“I’d like to personally thank all those who stopped to assist at the scene including many healthcare professionals who were off duty.
“We are urging anybody who may have witnessed the collision, or anybody who may have been travelling or walking in the vicinity and who may have mobile or dashcam footage, to contact us.”
