Police cordoned off a road after a man was hit by an e-bike. Merseyside Police were called to Laird Street, in Birkenhead, at around 7.30pm on Saturday, September 6.
It followed reports a man on a pedal bike was hit by another man riding an e-bike on the road near Mallaby Street. A force incident manager said those involved in the crash suffered minor injuries, however they were still looking for one of the men who left the scene.
Police initially closed the road to “carry out investigations” following the crash and traffic was diverted from the area. However, the road was reopened a few hours later. An eyewitness said a cordon was in place and there were “police and ambulance sirens going off all over the place”.
