The ups and downs of life in Weatherfield continue in next week’s Coronation Street with more teen drama, a sad exit and a return of a ‘missing’ character.
Kicking the week off, Carl Webster calls at No.13 and sister-in-law Abi senses that something is bothering him. Carl makes out that he’s worried about Kevin’s cancer and wishes they’d spent more time together.
Abi assures Carl that he’s a decent bloke and despite their rocky start, she’s pleased that he’s here. But when Carl pulls her in for a kiss, how will Abi react?
Meanwhile, and sticking with the Websters, Debbie swerves an invitation for lunch with husband-to-be Ronnie Bailey as she is going to the hospital with Carl who makes out they are going to a meeting.
The neurologist confirms to Debbie that she has vascular dementia, but as long as she leads a healthy lifestyle, she can carry on as normal for the time being.
After he found out about her tests earlier this month, a shocked Debbie makes it clear to Carl that she wants to keep her diagnosis to herself for now and she’s not ready to tell the family.

Debbie is left upset to see what the future holds when a woman with dementia approaches her outside the clinic. Back at home, an excited Ronnie tells her Ronnie calls at the hotel and excitedly reveals that he’s put in an offer on No.6. How will Debbie react?
It seems it may be badly as later in the weeken, Debbie calls with his things and assures a heartbroken Ronnie he’s done nothing wrong, it’s her.
Elsewhere in Weatherfield, Betsy Swain refuses to go back to college. Carla Connor is sure she is secretly playing her mum., Lisa Swain, especially when Lisa says she is going to take some time off work to look after her.
Meanwhile, Lauren Bolron confesses to Bobby Crawford that she took the van and let Betsy take the rap for it and now she is getting mysterious threatening texts.
Later, a frustrated Carla is left looking after Betsy at the flat. As she makes Betsy some lunch she is surprised when Betsy picks up the pepper mill with both hands and grinds some pepper over her pasta. When Carla points out that her arm is clearly fine, Betsy leaps up, and sends her lunch flying, just as Lisa returns home.

Carla takes a swipe at Betsy for faking her injury but Lisa lets it slide. However, when Tracy Barlow makes it clear she wants paying for the damage to her van, Carla asserts Betsy should contribute. But how will Lisa react?
Also, Daisy Midgeley is a little suspicious when Christina Boyd refuses to get rid of her burner phone and let Jenny Connor and Dom Norwood message each other directly.
She is distracted however when Jenny reveals she has inherited some money from some shares Daisy’s dad had bought in her name and plans to invest in Dom’s company. When Daniel calls at the Rovers and finds Christina with two phones.
Later, when Jenny reveals she has transferred the money Daisy is shocked when she hears Christina talking to Dom in the Rover’s back yard just what are they up to?
Meanwhile Julie Carp’s bingo fundraiser is underway in the bar and with Christina in charge, Daisy goes through to the back room to find Jenny in a state of panic. What could have happened? Back in the bar Christina reads out bingo numbers, unaware of what is unfolding.

As the week ends, Daisy says her goodbyes before an explosive exit, leaving the street behind in spectacular fashion! With Jenny thrown into a state of panic from events the night before, she begs Daisy not to leave.
Daniel, Ryan Connor and Kit Green mull over their failed relationships with Daisy while she puts the final touches to her escape plan. But as emotions run high, will a heart to heart with Daniel change her mind or is she a woman on a mission?
Meanwhile, in the café Gary Windass is seen for the first time in months and tells wife Maria that business is slow at the shop and he’s thinking of selling up and buying the builder’s yard but Maria’s adamant that they can’t afford it.
In the Bistro, Gary confides in Mick Michaelis how he’d like to buy the builder’s yard but Maria’s not keen. Mick reckons he should go ahead as what’s best for him is best for Maria too. Maria finds Gary and Mick enjoying a celebratory drink in the Bistro.
Later, an excited Gary assures Maria he’s going to make a success of the builder’s yard. But Maria warns him that it was a mistake to offer Mick a job and tells Mick he’s not welcome.

Soon after, in the precinct, Liam Connor is in trouble when his phone is snatched. As the lads continue to terrorise Liam, Mick approaches. Will he help the teen?
And, when Eileen Grimshaw slips in the kitchen and has to go A&E she is less than impressed when George Shuttleworht asks Brian Packham to take her as he is too busy.
Brian later calls with a wheelchair for Julie and putting on a brave face, she gets Eileen to wheel her into the pub, but it’s clear she’s in pain. Julie then lets slip to George that Eileen is bored with their relationship and he needs to make more effort, leaving George worried.
