Patrick Bamford is on the lookout for a new club after the Leeds United icon mutually agreed to end his Elland Road contract a season before it was due to expire.
Bamford, 32, ended his seven-year stay at Elland Road last month after Daniel Farke informed the striker he would not be a part of his plans in the Premier League. Bamford did not start a league game last term.
There was a feeling among the fanbase at the start of pre-season that Bamford may be given a chance to show what he can do. Bamford himself said he was hoping for a final dance with Leeds in the top flight.
But after the 0-0 draw against Manchester United, Farke told reporters that Bamford was no longer in his plans after two years under Farke. Since then, Leeds and Bamford parted ways at the end of August.

Typically, there has been plenty discussed regarding Bamford’s future. Following promotion, Bamford hinted he would like to move to America and try his hand in the MLS, but nothing has materialised.
Wrexham ruled out a move for Bamford, Middlesbrough had no interest in a reunion for the striker and that means Bamford remains a free agent. Now, The Sun’s Alan Nixon says Bamford has made a decision.
Nixon reports that Bamford has his sights set on a move to The MLS, confirming the striker’s comments following promotion. The striker rejected a scholarship at Harvard University, to pursue his career.

Following the window slamming shut, Scottish champions Celtic and Brendan Rodgers were looking for a new signing up top. They failed to sign Kasper Dolberg, who was also linked with Leeds in the summer.
Celtic were forced into the free agent market. Reports say that Celtic held talks to sign Bamford, which would have seen the one-time England man reunite with former Chelsea coach Rodgers at Parkhead.
But Rodgers formed a different reunion with another of his past-strikers, landing Kelechi Iheanacho on a free transfer. The former Leicester striker had been without a club after being released by Victor Orta.
