Theo Ganderton, aged 17, from Streetly, was riding a white Yamaha bike when he was involved in a collision with a black Audi TT on Thornhill Road at about 11.20pm on Friday (August 29).
Tragically, nothing could be done to save him and he died at the scene.
His family said: “Theo Jay Ganderton is a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, grandson, nephew and friend.
“Theo was full of love for the people close to him and had many hobbies, including ice skating, motorcycling, and karate.
“We’d like to thank all those involved in the efforts to save Theo’s life. He’ll be dearly missed by all who knew him.”
The driver of the Audi stayed at the scene and is helping collision investigators with their inquiries.
