September 1st marks the 40th anniversary since we discovered what remained of the most defining tragedy in maritime history – the sinking of the RMS Titanic. Now almost half a century later, the story of the Titanic continues to captivate and move people worldwide.

Eclipso, known for its VR experiences around the world has unveiled Titanic: Echoes From The Past – a first-of-its-kind immersive adventure that transports you back in time to witness history like never before.

Since launching in February, Eclipso has attracted over 32,000 visitors who have been captivated by the incredible story inspired by the would-be footage of the Titanic’s cinematographer, William Harbeck. To mark this historic anniversary, London’s premier free-roam VR experience is the perfect way for families, schools and adults alike to travel through time using technology.

Beginning with a descent to the ocean floor, participants can relive the ship’s journey in its full glory – walk through bustling third-class cabins, marvel at the grandeur of the famous staircase, and stand in the captain’s cockpit as the collision unfolds. Featuring authentic monologues and accounts from real-life passengers – from the overlooked voices of third-class travelers seeking a new life to the untold stories of the ship’s workers – this experience sheds light on those who lost their lives aboard the Titanic. This immersive 30-minute journey serves as both an educational tribute and a heartfelt commemoration of the passengers and crew whose stories still resonate today.

More than just an attraction, Titanic: Echoes From The Past is a tribute honouring the 2,200 passengers and crew who sailed on that fateful night. By blending history, technology, and storytelling, this experience ensures that 40 years later, the voices of the Titanic’s past continue to be heard.

Perfect for history enthusiasts, families, and Titanic devotees, Titanic: Echoes From The Past is a powerful and immersive way to remember and reflect on the legacy of the world’s most famous ocean liner.

Karl Blake Garcia, London Venue Director, comments: “I’m beyond excited to bring Titanic: Echoes From The Past to life in our brand new venue in Camden. This experience is extra special for me personally because my great-grandfather was part of the team who helped build the Titanic. Growing up with stories about the ship’s legacy, it’s incredibly meaningful to now be part of sharing this story with the world in such an educational and immersive way.”

Voyelle Acker, co-founder at Small Creative, adds: “Bringing the Titanic to life in such an immersive way has been an incredible experience for us and our team.
