Prince Harry has been spotted leaving Heathrow airport after landing in the UK.
The Duke of Sussex left Los Angeles International Airport earlier this morning to head to London for a series of charity events. He’ll be attending this year’s WellChild Awards and is expected to announce a personal donation to Children in Need during his time in the UK.
A Range Rover was seen at the airport in England to pick Harry up after his flight. Two members of Harry’s team were pictured in the front seats of the vehicle, as the Duke of Sussex rode in the back of the car.
For his trip, Harry wore a black polo top and casual black trousers. He was seen carrying his belongings in a brown overnight bag.
Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, hasn’t joined him for the trip. It’s believed she’s staying in America with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
While Harry is in the UK, it’s expected he will visit Nottingham, which is where his first royal engagement with Meghan took place.
Royal expert Charles Rae has suggested Harry is unlikely to reunite with the King while he’s in the UK. “The big problem is that Harry is flying 5,500 miles to London and the King is still 500 miles away in Scotland,” he said during an appearance on the Royal Exclusive podcast.
He added, “It is unlikely you would expect the King would fly down again to have a cup of tea with Harry.”
Rae also suggested a reunion between Harry and Charles would be unlikely without other members of the royal family being present.
“I can’t see how you could possibly have a reconciliation without the whole family being involved,” the expert explained.
