A friend of Prince Harry’s is revealing that the ‘visibly stressed’ royal has “forgotten” one key thing about his father, King Charles, as he aims for a reconciliation.

Much fuss has been made about Harry’s return to London, which comes as rumors have run rampant that he is eager to reconcile with family members, specifically his father, after years of being estranged.

Now, as he arrives in the city sans wife Meghan Markle to visit a London charity, all eyes are on him as he potentially meets with his father for the first time.

However, while he is reportedly eager to reconcile, some are sharing that after the Prince’s many comments about his family members, in both interviews and his memoir, Spare, it appears the Prince has a different recollection of his life as a royal.

Speaking to The Standard, a friend of the Prince’s revealed that Harry has ‘forgotten’ the good times with his father.

“He wants to be able to show his children where he grew up. He wants them to know their family here. He really would like to come back to the UK much more.”

The Prince has previously been open about his desire to reconcile with his family, especially in light of his father’s battle with cancer, admitting to the BBC he did, in fact, miss the UK.

“And the thing they’re going to miss, well, everything…I miss the UK,” he said at the time.

“I would love a reconciliation with my family. I don’t know how much longer my father has. He won’t speak to me because of this security stuff…but it would be nice to reconcile.”
