Prince Harry is back in the UK for the first time since his court hearing in April, which centered on security guarantees for the royal and his family—and, naturally, the reunion rumor mill is a-churning.

Many are speculating as to whether or not Harry will use the opportunity to reconnect with his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William, both of whom he’s been estranged from over the last few years—something notably detailed in his memoir, Spare, via an interview with Oprah Winfrey, and on his and wife Meghan Markle‘s Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan. The couple have repeatedly lamented how they felt the institution of the monarchy did not protect Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, during cruel press coverage that impacted hugely on her mental health.

It’s believed that Harry and Meghan speaking so publicly about this and other family issues is why the other royals are now reluctant to make amends, however it’s also been reported that Meghan may recently have sent Queen Camilla an ‘olive branch’ birthday gift and that aides for both the King and the Sussexes were spotted together back in July.

So, what’s the likelihood of a reconciliation? It seems from Prince William’s side, the answer is… slim to none.

After having a seven-week break from the majority of his royal duties, in order to spend time with his wife, Catherine, Princess of Wales, and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis over the school holidays, William is very much throwing himself back into work this week, with a packed out schedule of back-to-back engagements throughout the duration of Harry’s UK visit. It’s been interpreted by some as his way of subtle saying “thanks, but no thanks” to a get together with his sibling.

As part of his four-day trip to the UK, Prince Harry’s schedule has him first of all visiting his grandmother’s grave on the third anniversary of her death, before attending the WellChild awards in London, while Prince William will be at the National Federation of the Women’s Institute (WI) in Sunningdale, in honor of his late grandmother who was an active member, first joining in 1943.

Elsewhere, on Sept. 9, Prince Harry is set to head to Nottingham to announce a major donation to Children in Need, while William will be at the youth organization, Spiral Skills, in London.

Finally, on Sept. 10, Prince William will be in Cardiff to commemorate the opening of a new mental health hub by the Jac Lewis Foundation, which has received backing from his and Kate’s Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales. It’s not believed Harry will be anywhere near the area at the time.

Neither the Palace or the Sussexes press team has commented on the possibility of a meeting either.

On the King Charles front, the monarch is all the way up in Scotland at his Balmoral residence, although he is still traveling south for cancer treatments. So again, it could be tricky to fit in an in-person meeting with Harry.
