This year’s Homobloc line-up has been officially unveiled and it will feature a crammed-full roster of performers spanning all genres of music.
Hailed as the city’s leading annual clubbing celebration within the LGBTQ+ community, Homobloc has sprouted from its origins as Luke Unabomber’s Homoelectric club night to be a worldwide recognised staple.
This year’s event, which will take place in December with a main base at Depot Mayfield, will be headlined by the one and only pop icons Sugababes. Fresh from their UK tour, as well as appearances at Parklife and Manchester Pride last year, the girl group will lead proceedings with a big set.
The one-night event will also feature performances from the likes of Honey Dijon, The Blessed Madonna, Slayyyter, and Patrick Mason, as well as a rare DJ slot from The Gossip frontwoman Beth Ditto.

Also joining this year’s line-up will be Hercules and Love Affair – Live, Todd Edwards, Fat Tony, Eliza Rose, Roi Perez, Ana Matronic, Runway x Banksie, and a special b2b DJ set from Canadian electroclash icon Peaches and electronic tastemaker Erol Alkan.
Depot Mayfield’s intimate Archive space will also host a string of curated sessions, including a celebration from South Asian, Middle Eastern and North African queer brown collective House Of Spice alongside Manchester’s Desi LGBTQ+ collective Club Zindagi. Dance outfit Ghetto Fabulous will also take up residency in the venue, alongside line dance favourites Red Rodeo Club.
Speaking about what they have in store, House of Spice said: “Homobloc is more than a festival to us – it’s a celebration of queerness, music, and chosen family.
“As a South Asian, Middle Eastern and North African queer brown collective, House of Spice is proud to bring our flavour to 2025, featuring Club Zindagi, Armana Khan, Shanika Sunrise, DJ Chafik, and our performers Lucky Roy Singh (Mother), Mixed Spice, Chilli Spice, Saffy Saffron Spice, and Rachel Pro-Filing.
“Together we’re excited to create a space that is unapologetically free, joyful, and rooted in community. Homobloc represents unity and visibility, and we can’t wait to dance, perform, and celebrate with everyone under one roof.”

It will not just be Depot Mayfield that is taking part in this year’s Homobloc either, which will take place on December 6, 2025, with tickets going on sale this week via Ticketmaster.
The legendary Star & Garter pub will host a range of exceptional underground queer artists, including the Berlin-based Only Fire, pop-up icons Butch Revival, and trans-centred nightlife collective T4T. Manchester-based artist Jasmine.4.t will also bring a special DJ set to the pub for the one-night event.
There will also be stages at the Loft and Plant Room, which will host a 10th anniversary celebration from PXSSY PALACE featuring the likes of Jay Jay Revlon, Che3kz, Nadine Noor, UNIIQU3, Mya Mehmi and Ryan Lovell.
Rod Connolly, Promoter from Homobloc, comments: “We can’t wait for people to dive into our 2025 lineup of queer excellence, proudly merging global and local artists, returning friends, and scratching the underbelly of the scene to showcase the rawest talent from the queer underground.

“In a time of rising division, events like Homobloc matter more than ever. We deserve a space for our community and allies to come together and hold each other up on a dancefloor full of love and resistance. We are the beings the bastards can’t grind down and we invite everyone to join us to shake off the bullshit, recharge, realign and carry our queer power back out onto the streets of Manchester.”
Sophie Bee, Homobloc Creative Director, added: “The team are super excited to be back. We’ve got some unreal collaborations booked in for this year, from Jodie Harsh and Clayton Wright’s London community strong, weekly club night Feel It to local hot talent Rojak.
“We’re working with mind blowing producers such as Runway X Banksie and the nations favourite, Lill, producing a fabulous line up of queens. We’re also cooking away at some special happenings with Sam Buttery and Beau Azra. As always, we just want to blow your socks off and have the best time with all our pals.”
Homobloc 2025 will take place on December 6 from 4pm to 4am. Pre-sale tickets will be available from Thursday (September 10) at 10am, with general sale beginning on Friday (September 11) at 10am. Tickets will go on sale here and via Ticketmaster.
