The incident happened in Pytchley Road, East Dulwich just before 2.15pm today (September 9).
Ambulance crews, a paramedic in a response car, an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer and London’s Air Ambulance attended.
The woman was pronouncded dead at the scene shortly after.
The nature of the incident is unclear at this stage.
We have contacted Metropolitan Police for further details on the incident.
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called today (Tuesday 9) at 2.14pm to reports of an incident in Pytchley Road, SE22.
“We sent resources including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a response car, an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer and London’s air ambulance.
“Sadly, despite our efforts, a woman was pronounced dead at scene.”
