A man has been arrested after multiple police units were called to The Bearpit in Bristol.
A witness reported seeing around 10 police officers at St James Barton Roundabout on Tuesday afternoon (April 22) where a man was throwing things into the road.
Avon and Somerset Police said officers saw a man throwing objects into the street at around 12pm.
A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
He was taken into police custody, a spokesperson for the force said.
Avon and Somerset Police said: “At 12.07pm officers spotted a man throwing objects into the road near The Bearpit in Bristol.
“A man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly in a public place. He was taken into police custody.”
Video footage captured at the scene shows multiple police officers surrounding a man on the floor.
He appeared to be in handcuffs.
More police vehicles were then seen driving on the roundabout where the incident happened.
