Emergency services descended on an Oldham street after a car was set on fire.
Crews and police attended Edge Lane Street, in Royton, at around 10.40pm on Tuesday night (September 9).
Witnesses described hearing ‘small explosions’ before seeing smoke billowing from the area.
Images show flames soaring from the vehicle involved, while officers were seen searching the area after the fire broke out.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed it was called out after a car was set on fire outside a property on Edge Lane Street.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident so far and enquiries remain ongoing this morning (Wednesday), the force says.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service added: “At shortly before 10.40pm on Tuesday (September 9) three fire engines from Oldham, Chadderton and Hollins fire stations were called to a car fire on Edge Lane Street, Royton.
“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to extinguish the fire and make the surrounding area safe.
“Crews were in attendance for around 50 minutes.”
