If the problems for the Celtic board were not bad enough, it appears they have angered the Parkhead support even further for the upcoming visit of Hibs.

Celtic supporters have made their feelings perfectly clear about away ticket prices for all Scottish football fans over the last few seasons.

Since 2019, the Parkhead support have called for action from all clubs, including Celtic, to reduce the ticket prices for visiting fans to £20.

The ’20s Plenty’ campaign appears to have fallen on deaf ears, especially after the price the Celtic board have set for the visiting Hibs fans for the Scottish Premiership fixture on the 27th of September.

Fans will remember how Celtic supporters who travelled to Tannadice for the Dundee United fixture protested against ticket prices by throwing oranges onto the pitch.

Well, when Celtic fans found out what their own club are charging Hibs supporters at the end of the month, they were furious.

Hibs released the prices on their website yesterday. Here are the prices for the Celtic Park visit:

Responding to the exorbitant prices the Celtic board have set for the visit of Hibs, the Parkhead support rallied to roundly criticise the executives once again.

@goons_gowans was fuming and replied, “Celtic, £39!!!!!!! Could you be a bit more tone deaf please? I think there’s still a couple Celtic da’s supporting the board.”

@SmiddyBhoy1 hammered home the message Celtic fans have been shouting about for years and said, “Greed is killing football. £20’s plenty for all games.”

The message is clear from the fans, but it appears that once again, the Celtic board are simply not listening.
