Martello Transport, based in Felixstowe, couriered a delivery of glass panels near to non-league side Hitchin Football Club on Saturday, September 6.
The delivery involved carrying the load, but the company confirms it had no role in the loading, securing, or off-loading the goods.
Two men who were unloading glass panels from the lorry died at the scene, and a third man sustained minor injuries and received treatment, Hertfordshire Police confirmed.

“Our deepest sympathies are with the families, friends, and colleagues of those who lost their lives.
“The consignment involved was prepared, loaded, and unloaded entirely by third parties. Martello Transport acted solely as the carrier and had no role in the loading, securing, or off-loading of the goods.
“We are fully cooperating with the relevant authorities as they conduct their investigations.
“As this is an active investigation, we will not be making any further comment at this time.”

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “Sadly, despite the best efforts of all involved, two adult men had died at the scene.”
Two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer vehicle, a critical care paramedic car, and a community first responder were sent to the scene.
The football club said in a statement that there was a “tragic accident on land adjacent to the football ground” on Saturday that resulted in the deaths of two people.
The club said: “At this stage, we know very little about the actual details of the accident, and the police have taken control of the incident, and their inquiries are ongoing.
“We would like to send our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to their families at this very sad and difficult time.”
An investigation continues into the deaths.
