He once poured the tea for the Royals — and now he’s spilling it all!

In his explosive new tell-all book The Royal Butler, former Buckingham Palace butler Grant Harrold  — who served King Charles III for seven years when he was Prince of Wales — says that Meghan Markle had completely unrealistic expectations about royal life.

“I think the problem with Meghan is that she went into the organization and she assumed that after watching all the Disney princesses that she thought it was going to be like that,” he told Page Six in an interview published September 9.

Harrold also recalled one telling incident where the former Suits actress, 44,  wanted to host friends for lunch on a day she had official royal duties.

“She would rather have lunch with her friends, thinking that was fine and it wasn’t,” he told the outlet. “That’s not how it works. You can’t change it.”

During his time with the royal family, the butler also witnessed firsthand how tight Prince Harry, 40, and Prince William, 43, used to be during his service from 2004 to 2011.

“The two of them were not just the best of friends, they were inseparable,” recalled Harrold. “At Highgrove, they were always together. They were walking together, in the pub together, on motorbikes together.”

But those brotherly bond days are long gone. “I was genuinely shocked when they fell out,” he admitted. “There must be something deeper going on that we’re not being told.”
