Onlookers turned heads as she made her way through the travel hub where she was picked up by a young man.
A source said: “Claudia seemed to be quite cheery and happy. She was sporting her usual trademark fringe.
“A few people at the arrivals recognised her and she smiled back.
“She just went through the baggage reclaim, waited for her luggage, and met a young guy.
“She got into a car and off they went, probably towards Inverness.”
Claudia was clutching a copy of the book Wellness by best-selling author Nathan Hill, and a bottle of water.
She wore a black jacket, jeans, a woolly jumper and finger-less gloves, despite nice weather and temperatures of 15C.
Claudia and a host of stars are making their way to the set of the celeb spin-off of the popular BBC series.
QI legend Stephen Fry, 67, was the first name to be revealed by The Sun last year.
He will be joined by comedian Alan Carr, 48, and Scottish Line of Duty actor Mark Bonnar, 56, who played DCC Mike Dryden in the cult series.
