The water company are now back as part of efforts to improve service in the area, but are warning motorists to expect delays while the work is carried out.
Affinity only left London Road last Friday after carrying out five days of what was also described as “essential maintenance”, but multi-way traffic lights will be in place again until next Tuesday (September 16) with work having begun yesterday.
“We’re currently carrying out essential maintenance in your area. This work is part of our ongoing efforts to improve our service to you,” an update on the works read.
“During these types of works, there may be some disruption to road users, please factor this into any journeys you make during this time.”
