Liverpool fans are wondering when Alexander Isak will make his debut for the Reds, following a £125m move from Newcastle on transfer deadline day.
Fenway Sports Group (FSG) broke the British transfer record for a second time during the summer to bring the Sweden international to Anfield, but the fact he went on strike at Newcastle and therefore had no pre-season has raised question marks over his condition.
The Chronicle now share a personal fitness plan Newcastle made for Alexander Isak – which provides an insight into when the Swede could debut for Liverpool.

Alexander Isak not expected to be at 100% until end of October
It is said that Newcastle made the new Liverpool No.9 a bespoke fitness plan, just in case Eddie Howe managed to reintegrate the 25-year-old and keep him on Tyneside.
Insiders at Newcastle who made the plan did not anticipate Isak – set to become just the second Swedish player ever at Liverpool – being at full fitness until after the international break in October, which ends in the middle of the month.
It means Liverpool fans may not see Isak – or at least the best version of the man from Solna – until bitter rivals Manchester United come to Anfield on 19th October, which would be some stage for the £125m man to announce himself.
Arne Slot should resist temptation and give Alexander Isak time
Had Liverpool suffered a woeful start to the season, it would be understandable if Arne Slot wanted to throw his record signing straight into the starting XI for the trip to Burnley on Sunday.
For what it’s worth, Jamie Carragher thinks Isak will start on the bench at Turf Moor this weekend.
However, the Reds can boast a 100% record after three games – the only Premier League side able to do so – with Hugo Ekitike impressing as he scored two goals in those three outings.
Therefore, Slot should feel comfortable in keeping the side as it is, allowing Isak to build up his fitness in the background and ensure he can hit the ground running.
The last thing Liverpool want after breaking the British transfer record is for Isak to be fielded prematurely, as a difficult start would put immense pressure on his shoulders, mainly from rival fans and the media.
