The Irish Football Association has renewed its partnership with Diageo-owned lager brand Carlsberg for a further three years, ensuring Carlsberg remains the official beer partner of the Northern Ireland senior men’s and senior women’s teams.

The extended deal also means Carlsberg will continue as the official beer partner of both the Irish Football Association and the Clearer Twist National Stadium at Windsor Park.

As part of the renewal agreement Carlsberg, Guinness and Rockshore will continue to be served throughout the stadium, with Diageo committing additional investment to further enhance pouring infrastructure and improve the matchday experience across lounges and kiosks.

Karl Donnelly, Marketing Manager Carlsberg, said: “We are proud to renew Carlsberg’s partnership with the Irish Football Association.

“As Northern Ireland’s number one lager brand we are committed to growing our association with Northern Ireland football and its passionate fans. With the World Cup qualifiers in full swing for the senior men’s team it’s an exciting time and we look forward to being part of the journey.”

Stephen Bogle, Head of Commercial Operations at the Irish FA, added: “We are thrilled to renew our partnership with Diageo and continue to bring world-renowned brands such as Carlsberg, Guinness and Rockshore to the Clearer Twist National Stadium at Windsor Park.

“This extension allows us to build on the progress we have already made and to keep improving the matchday experience for our supporters.”
