West Midlands Police is appealing for information after a 17-year-old boy was discovered with stab wounds at University College Birmingham yesterday afternoon (September 10).

The boy sustained injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The force is now appealing for witnesses and for anyone who has information that could assist with its enquiries to get in touch.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “An investigation has been launched after a teenager was stabbed at a college in Birmingham.

“We were called to reports of a stabbing in Summer Row at around 3.30pm yesterday (10 September), and officers attending found a 17-year-old boy with stab injuries.

“He was taken hospital with injuries which were not life-threatening.

“An investigation is underway to identify who was involved.
