A man was taken to hospital after being struck by an e-bike in a suspected hit and run. Merseyside Police were called to Laird Street in Birkenhead at 7.20pm on Saturday, September 6, following reports a male on an illegal electric bike was in collision with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment for facial injuries. He has since returned home.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward to help with the investigation.
