Leeds United secured their spot in the Premier League next season, though it remains unclear whether the same could be said for Daniel Farke.
Not only did Leeds seal their promotion over Easter, but they did it in fashion with a 6-0 hammering of Stoke City in front of the home support, with the Whites 5-0 up at the break.
To say it has been a rollercoaster of a season would be a massive understatement, but ultimately, it is one that has ended with Leeds achieving their goal of promotion at the second attempt.
Farke failed in his first attempt, and just about succeeded in his second, though that may not be enough to see him manage in the Premier League next season.

Despite the achievement, Farke’s future could still be under threat at Leeds, with it claimed that the Whites may look elsewhere in the summer.
Statistically, Farke is one of the worst managers in Premier League history, but Paul Robinson thinks it would be harsh to sack him.
Speaking to MOT Leeds News, he said; “I think it would be harsh. I really do think it would be harsh. I think anybody who achieves in any line of work, in any other job in the world, if you achieve and you get a promotion and you have success, you get the opportunity to prove that you can perform at the next level.
Farke has guided his side to promotion.
“The history that he’s had previously in the Premier League, the stats there, the 12 per cent win record that he’s got, one of the lowest in the Premier League. Yes, you can hold that all against him, but it’s not this set of players and it’s not this football club.
“I think that you give him a go, because like I said, in any other line of work, when you achieve success, you get given the opportunity to prove that you can work at the next level. I think you give him the opportunity, but I think you act early if it’s becoming clear that it’s going to be a struggle for him.”

For now, Leeds still have two games to attend to and then a celebration to follow. However, after that, planning will start.
Not only do Leeds have a huge summer ahead on the recruitment front, but they also need to make a decision on the future of Farke.
