Police were alerted to a report of a 48-year-old man ‘seriously injured’ inside a property on Huntingtower Road in Baillieston.

The force was called to the incident at around 7.30am on Thursday, September 11.

Cops attended the incident. After arriving at the scene, the man was taken to hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, a 49-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection.

She is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, September 15.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7.30am on Thursday, September 11, 2025, we were called to a report of a 48-year-old man seriously injured within a property on Huntingtower Road, Glasgow.

“Officers attended and he was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

“A 49-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

“She is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, September 15, 2025.”
