As summer fades, all eyes turn to Christmas for a fantastical feeling to fend off these winter blues. Thankfully, the West Midlands’ biggest light trail returns with a magical offering of activities this festive season. Winter Glow returns to the Three Counties Showground in Malvern from November 21 to December 31.
After 2024’s ‘The Light Guardians’, this year’s light trail features a new story and theme, alongside brand-new installations. While we’re still waiting for that announcement, there’s no better time to book than now—currently, kids can go free (ages 3-10) when accompanied by an adult (offer until October 31).

The luminous light trail isn’t the only reason to make the trip to Malvern this Christmas. Your ticket also includes free access to a local Christmas market, an indoor fairground, and Winter Glow’s very own Winter Bar. And that’s not all, either, as several other experiences return, too!
The beloved Santa’s Grotto will return as an immersive adventure into a winter wonderland this year—complete with elf circus training! Visit Mrs Claus’ bakery, the toy workshop, and a winter village, before an unforgettable meeting with Santa himself. Plus, Winter Glow’s dog-friendly Santa meet-and-greets are also back.

Visitors can also have a game of glow-in-the-dark mini golf on the 18-hole course, featuring elf-themed UV designs. Skate along to festive classics on the region’s largest covered real ice rink—decorated with twinkling lights and giant snowflakes. Make sure to pick up one of Mrs. Claus’ curated Christmas Eve boxes, too, featuring a limited-edition Winter Glow bauble.
