The “disappointing news” that Bexleyheath firework display has been cancelled was announced by organisers yesterday. Locals were left “gutted” after organisers said they were unable to deliver the event scheduled to go ahead on Saturday, November 1.
The exact reason for the event’s cancellation was not given, although organisers said that they would be focusing on bringing the event back next year in a new format that would be “bigger and better.” Ticket holders will get a refund processed automatically within 48 hours, organisers added.
A spokesperson for the event posted to X: “We are saddened to share that this years Danson Park Fireworks will not be going ahead. Despite the hard work and dedication of everyone involved, circumstances mean that we are unable to deliver the event in 2025.
“We know this will be disappointing news for many who were looking forward to joining us. Our focus now is on bringing the event back next year in a refreshed format that will be even bigger and better. “We would like to thank our partners, supporters, and the community for their continued encouragement and understanding. All ticket holders will receive a refund. Refunds are processed automatically within 48 hours. All enquiries should be directed to hello@dansonparkfireworks.com.”
