A man was due to appear in court today, Saturday, September 13, charged with raping a woman in a West Bromwich park.
Mohammed Sourov is accused of committing the rape in Kenrick Park, West Bromwich, on Tuesday, September 9.
The 26-year-old was scheduled to appear at Walsall Magistrates’ Court today for a first hearing.

West Midlands Police said it was continuing to investigate the incident.
Kenrick Park is near the tram station of the same name.

A force spokesperson said: “A man will appear in court today charged with rape of a woman in West Bromwich.

“A 26-year-old man was arrested on Thursday after a woman was sexually assaulted in a park off Green Street, West Bromwich, at around 12.15pm on Tuesday, September 9.
“Mohammed Sourov was remanded in custody and is appearing at Walsall Magistrates’ Court today charged with rape.
