A car fire is being treated as ‘wilful’ by police as they launch an investigation.
Shocked residents reported the incident to Police Scotland shortly after midnight on Saturday September 13 on Telford Drive.
Both firefighters and officers raced to the scene in order to contain the blaze.

At this time the incident is understood not to be connected with the ongoing gangland feud which has seen several businesses, vehicles and homes targeted by wilful fire raising.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.20am on Saturday, 13 September, 2025, police received a report of a car fire on Telford Drive, Edinburgh.
