Emergency services were called to A13 Ripple Road at 5.45pm on Friday (September 12), following reports of a crash involving three vehicles.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police, as well as the London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance service all attended the scene.
Four people were taken to hospital, where their injuries were assessed as non life-threatening or life-changing.

Enquiries are ongoing into the incident.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “Police were called at 5.45pm on Friday (September 12) to Ripple Road, Dagenham to reports of a road traffic collision involving three vehicles.
“Officers attended along with the London Fire Brigade and the London Ambulance Service.
“Four people were taken to hospital as a precaution.
“Their injuries were assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.
“Enquiries are ongoing and the road has since reopened.”
