A man who was enjoying TV suddenly heard a loud message that a bus was under attack after it crashed into a lamppost near his Bristol home.
Quincy, who did not want to give his last name, was at home in Alison Road, Brislington when he heard an almighty crash.
As he went to look, he also heard an unusual alarm warning him and others that the bus in question might be under attack.
He told Bristol Live: “I was watching some TV at home when I heard a loud bang, followed by the emergency alarm, “this bus is under attack, please dial 999”.
“I went outside to see what the commotion was and saw a bus fully off the road in a wall.”

Quincy said he walked up to the scene of the crash, which happened at around 5.30pm this afternoon, to check on the driver and passenger and make sure they were alright.
He said all four passengers and the driver were unhurt and soon disembarked from the number 36 West Bus operated service.
Quincy it is the first time he ever heard such an alarm which believes was triggered by the driver himself.
He said it sounded a few times before being switched off by the driver.

He added: “It has fully destroyed a lamppost into multiple parts, with one bit still in the ground, one bit in the grass behind and one large bit stuck out the front of it.
“The bus seems to be quite damaged at the front despite being a new bus.”
He said a police car from Avon and Somerset Constabulary attended the incident and remained on scene for about 30 minutes while other First Bus employees also turned up.
