Glasgow City held on for a 1-0 victory over a resolute Hamilton Academical side, despite defender Lana Golob’s second-half red card.
Natalia Wrobel got the only goal of the game, and her first of the season, when she turned in Sofia Maatta’s cross in the first half at New Douglas Park.
Golob was shown a straight red card after 53 minutes for denying an opponent a clear scoring opportunity.
The result leaves City within a point of Rangers at the top of the table with a game in hand, while Accies remain bottom without a point.
Glasgow City take a three-goal lead into the second leg of their Europa Cup tie with Athlone Town in the Republic of Ireland on Wednesday.
