Founded in 1775, Houbigant is one of the world’s oldest perfume houses, with illustrious clients such as Napoleon, Marie-Antoinette and Guy de Maupassant. In 2005, Houbigant was acquired by the Perris family. Elisabetta and Gian Luca Perris have since been developing the house in France and internationally.
The store concepts were designed by Florentine architect Filippo Burresi and pay tribute to the brand’s heritage, inspired by the grandeur of Parisian palaces and historic residences. A signature store feature, the “Boiserie Houbigant,” reinterprets French paneling with champagne-toned walls and hand-brushed white finishes, while brass-edged glass shelves display the brand’s perfumes like works of art.
The Paris boutique, located at 62 rue François 1er, marks Houbigant’s return to the French capital after a 50-year absence. Spanning 80 square meters, it showcases the full fragrance portfolio alongside Perris Monte Carlo, Perris Portofino, and Perris Swiss Laboratory skincare.
In Cannes, the 150-square-meter store on the prestigious Boulevard de la Croisette extends Houbigant’s presence into one of the world’s most exclusive luxury destinations. The boutique again features the house’s signature collections alongside Perris brands.
With the launch of these two flagships, Houbigant is positioning its stores as spaces for discovery, personalized experiences, and exclusive events—strengthening customer loyalty and advancing its international profile.
