A ‘blessed’ fugitive with a ‘devil tattoo’ and Birmingham links is wanted by West Midlands Police.

Coventry man Danny Avis is wanted on recall to prison.

Police said the 33-year-old, who was pictured with a black eye in his mugshot, is “known to move” around the city.

Avis has distinctive tattoos including ‘blessed’ written above his right eyebrow and ‘666’, said to be the number of the devil, on his left cheek.

He has a cross tattoo on his opposite cheek and two ‘tears’ below his right eye.

West Midlands Police has appealed to the public for information to help track down Avis.

The force wrote on Facebook: “We’re looking for Danny Avis.

“Avis, from Coventry, is wanted on recall to prison.

“The 33-year-old is known to move around Coventry and we’re looking for any information which could help locate him.

“He also has links to Birmingham and Nuneaton.

“If you see him, call 999 immediately quoting warrant number 20/17995/25.”

Information can also be passed on anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
