Edinburgh rush hour collision triggers delays as drivers urged 'take care'

A collision in Edinburgh on Wednesday morning triggered delays.

The incident was first reported at around 7.18am. It’s understood that emergency services were called to Maybury Road, between Glasgow Road and East Craigs.

The condition of those involved is not currently known. Drivers have been urged to ‘take care on approach’.

Posting to X, Edinburgh Travel News said: “Hearing of an RTC on Maybury Road between Glasgow Road and East Craigs.

“More info as we get it, take care on approach.”

Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
