West Midlands Police are appealing for information after a man was attacked and seriously injured in an assault in Edgbaston.
The man was attacked from behind with a weapon by another man on Stirling Road between 3am and 4am on July 25.

The victim was left with serious head injuries, and had his cash, phone and designer jacket stolen.
Since the incident, investigators have carried out several enquiries in the area, including reviewing CCTV footage; however, they have still not been able to identify who was involved.
Now, the force is asking anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the attack to get in touch with them directly.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “We are now appealing to anyone who was in the area that may have spotted anything suspicious, no matter how small.
