The council is urging parents and carers to apply for the academic year starting in September 2026.
The deadline for applications is January 15, 2026, and children born between September 1, 2021 and August 31, 2022, or those currently in Year 2 at infant schools, are eligible.

“This reflects our commitment to providing high-quality education and is a key part of our child friendly Sandwell vision.
“I encourage all parents and carers to apply and take advantage of the fabulous schools we have across the borough.”
