A man is wanted back behind bars after breaking his licence conditions. Darren Davies, who has links to the Wirral and Liverpool city centre, was previously jailed for possession of an offensive weapon.

The 23-year-old pulled out a samurai sword outside a pub after he made a phone call to a man who he believed had assaulted his younger brother. When the man arrived outside the Five Bars Rest pub in Seacombe, Davies came out of the pub wielding the samurai sword and chased away his victim.

He pleaded guilty to possession of an offensive weapon and affray and was sentenced to 18 months in prison back in April this year.

Following his release from prison he left a property he was ordered to reside in and Merseyside Police said his licence has now been revoked and Davies has been recalled back to prison.

Davies is described as 6ft 4in, of slim build, with brown eyes, brown hair and a north west accent.

Police said if you see Davies or hold any information, contact them via @MerPolCC on X, ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’ on Facebook, or call 101 with reference 25000751861.

You can also anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
