Prince Harry may be eyeing a return to his native United Kingdom, if his recent conversation with Joss Stone is any indication.
The singer, 38, crossed paths with Harry, 41, during the WellChild Awards in London on September 8, and Stone opened up about their discussion to Hello! Magazine.
After revealing that the Duke of Sussex jokingly told Stone — a mom of four — that she had “two too many” kids, the English performer added that he was curious about her decision to move back to the U.K. after living in the States.
“He also asked about how we were settling back in and was genuinely interested in our move home,” Stone told the outlet in a story published on Friday, September 19, noting Harry was “ very warm and down to earth.”
“Maybe Harry will move back too,” she continued. “That would be nice.”
According to Stone, Harry — who shares Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 3, with wife Meghan Markle — also touched on the benefits of raising kids across the pond.

“He was saying how wonderful the schools are here and how important community is for children,” she revealed. “It was nice to share that with him because it’s exactly why we felt drawn to come back – for the kids to grow up surrounded by family, friends, and a strong sense of belonging and most importantly in a safe environment.”
Harry and Meghan, 44, left England in 2020 amid their decision to step down as senior royals, and are now raising their children in Montecito.
As Star previously reported, Harry recently came face-to-face with his estranged father, King Charles III, for the first time since February 2024. On September 10, the father-son duo enjoyed high tea at Clarence House in London.
Days later, the dad of two told The Guardian that he’d like to bring his children one day, noting: “This week has definitely brought that closer.”
Harry’s statement was in stark contrast to a previous one he made in May, when he told BBC he couldn’t “see a world in which I would be bringing my wife and children” to the U.K. after failing to secure sufficient security for his family.
