In the build-up to the Fulham game it was all about the goalkeepers. The one missing and the one stepping into the hot seat for the match at Craven Cottage. A week later and Karl Darlow’s performance has silenced that talk while Lucas Perri is sidelined for at least another week.

Now the focus is on a mis-firing attack and what to do it wide with a couple of injury concerns. The Whites could be without both Dan James (core muscle) and Willy Gnonto (calf) for the trip to Molineux. There’s a chance we could see Ao Tanaka and Joel Piroe in the starting line-up, with both firmly in contention, but it’s the potential absence of the wide men which will cause concern.

It points to an opportunity for Noah Okafor and Brenden Aaronson wither side of Dominic Calvert-Lewin in a three-man attack, one which needs to find a spark against a Wolves side bottom of the table without a point so far this season.

The midfield needs to take responsibility in that too and to that end Tanaka could get a call into the starting XI, but may find it hard to get his way back into the starting line-up for now.
